Westglen is a continuously growing, active, fun Guiding community full of engaging Guiders and energetic girls! Our vibrant 22 units keep their girls engaged with dynamic interactive program. In January, our Guide groups combined for a fun winter camp. In February, the Rangers & Trex set off to Jasper for dog sledding and ice walks. In March, we hosted a World Guiding Brownie camp. In April we held our first ever "Sparks in the Park" – Sparks joined Cat in the Hat for a fun day of Lorax activities in Glenmore Park. We kicked off the new Guiding year with a campfire and our "Banner Challenge". And in October the Brownies had a Dance Party and the Sparks had a "Sparkle" party. Other fun unit activities this year included: Mom and me Sleepovers, cooking classes, art time at Colour Me Mine, a visit from the planetarium, white water rafting, an unexpected snow storm at camp in April, bike trips, backcountry camping experiences, horseback riding, high ropes camp, Nite Trek, canoeing, many unit camps and so much more!
